2. Zero Personal Data Collection

We do not collect, harvest, profile, share, or transmit any personal information, device identifiers, precise locations, phone numbers, or financial records.

3. Local Device Storage

All chant logs, mala counts, habit streaks, custom deity names, and preferences are stored exclusively on your physical device using sandboxed local storage (HTML5 LocalStorage / IndexedDB).

4. Data Retention & Data Deletion Policy (Google Play Policy)

How to Delete Your Data:

In-App: Clear data via Dashboard > Settings > Reset App Data.
OS Settings: Clear storage via Android Settings > Apps > Japio > Storage > Clear Storage / Clear Data.
Uninstall: Uninstalling the application automatically deletes all local storage data from your device.

5. Third-Party SDKs & Analytics Disclosure

Japio does not include any third-party ad networks (no AdMob), tracking analytics SDKs (no Firebase or Google Analytics), or telemetry cookies. No user data is shared with third parties.

6. App Permissions

The optional POST_NOTIFICATIONS permission is used solely for native offline local daily reminders and can be enabled or revoked in system settings at any time.

7. Children's Privacy (COPPA Compliance)

Japio is compliant with COPPA and GDPR-K regulations. It collects zero personal information from children or users of any age.
