2. Zero Personal Data Collection

We do not collect, capture, sell, or transmit any personal information, device identifiers, precise locations, or financial records.

3. Local Device Storage

All chant logs, mala counts, habit streaks, custom deity names, and preferences are stored exclusively on your physical device using local sandboxed storage.

4. Data Retention & Data Deletion Policy

Deleting Your Data:

In-App: Clear data via Settings > Reset App Data.
OS Settings: Clear data via Android Settings > Apps > Japio > Storage > Clear Storage.
Uninstall: Uninstalling the application automatically deletes all local storage data.

5. Third-Party SDKs & Analytics

Japio does not include any ad networks (such as AdMob), tracking analytics (such as Firebase/Google Analytics), or telemetry cookies. No data is shared with third parties.

6. App Permissions

The POST_NOTIFICATIONS permission is used solely for native offline local daily reminders and can be enabled or revoked in system settings at any time.

7. Children's Privacy (COPPA)

Japio is compliant with COPPA and GDPR-K. It collects zero personal information from children or users of any age.
